• Marine paint is a type of paint specifically for ships going to sea. Ships that comply with a complete ship painting process will have lasting durability over time.
• The paint classes required for marine vessels include: paint for the bottom and below the waterline, paint for the variable draft area, paint for the freeboard, paint for the deck and cargo hold, paint for the cabin, paint for inside the ship.
• Paints in general and ship paints in particular have the main effect of protecting maritime ships, the paint layer acts as a protective layer against the penetration of external agents and living organisms marine plants, moss, resists acid, seawater corrosion,… and according to function, we have the following paints:

+ Antifouling paint for ships: Antifouling paint products used to protect the bottom of ships, prevent fouling, resist water and increase ship speed. Marine antifouling paint can adhere to all surfaces that have been painted with marine antifouling paint and marine color coating.

+ Marine anti-rust paint: Includes 2-component Epoxy corner anti-rust paints and 1-component Alkyd-based anti-rust paints, preventing rust for the ship’s steel structures while increasing adhesion and coverage for the outer paint layers above.

+ Ship color coating: Epoxy paint system, Alkyd system and PU paint system are used to both protect ships and increase the aesthetics of ships.

+ Chlorinated rubber paint: A 1-component paint made on the basis of chlorinated rubber resin, high-quality synthetic resin, pigments, organic solvents and other additives.
